http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyman_Rickover He is the Father of the Nuclear Navy .      Considering how many books I've read about submarines, of course I have heard of Admiral Hymen Rickover (I never read a bio come to think).  However, is naming only one Jew the best you can do when it comes to loyalty?  That's not a good track record considering an entire Tribe of people are concerned.      By the way, Bruno, I think you would enjoy reading Nautilus Ninety North by William R. Anderson and Around the World Submerged:  The Voyage of the Triton by Edward L. Beach.  If it's fiction you prefer, Run Silent, Run Deep holds up great as a WW II action-read and Ice Station Zebra does make a good mystery/thriller
