Today, more than 30 industry partners joined Microsoft to announce Windows Mobile - a new brand for our mobile device software that extends our familiar Windows brand to mobile devices and helps customers easily identify the software that runs Pocket PC and Smartphone devices.   Windows Mobile joins Windows XP and Windows Server System as the three main component brands of Windows. As part of the announcement, Microsoft is announcing the newest edition of its Windows Mobile software for Pocket PC.  We're very excited about the software-and its great new functionality - including zero-config Wi-Fi, improved messaging capabilities with enhanced keyboard support and advanced multi-media capabilities that take advantage of Windows Media 9 for Pocket PC and the Plus Digital Media Edition. You can go to retail outlets and purchase new Windows Mobile Pocket PCs from Toshiba, Asustek, HP, Dell, Fujitsu Siemens and Viewsonic (additional manufactures will offer new Windows Mobile-_base_d Pocket PCs later this year).   Also today, JVC and Gateway announced their intent to deliver Windows Mobile-_base_d Pocket PCs.  This marks the first entrance into the PDA market for both companies and demonstrates the continued momentum for Windows Mobile Software. New Software: Windows Mobile software is our new version of Pocket PC that offers easy Wi-Fi access, advanced support for digital imaging and more.  Specifically, Windows Mobile 2003 software for Pocket PC: ?          Enables easy connection to a variety of wireless networks
